    About Us

    Presented By:
New Commons & Founding Partners Entrepreneurs, investors, business practitioners have formed the Entrepreneurship Forum of New England (EFNE). The Forum is access to best practice, resources, and a community for growing entrepreneurship in New England. We are a guild for the craft of entrepreneurship.

    History:
In 2002 we started as an idea. Robert Leaver, of New Commons, was attending the Venture Forum 2002 and was struck by the idea that entrepreneurship is more than looking for funding. "Jay McNally of Ibis Consulting, Jeff Deckman of SyNet and the Chairman of RITEC, and I were struck by the idea of bringing entrepreneurs together to learn from each other," says Robert. "We thought, how can we make this more fun…presentations are boring…we should host a Festival." Thus started the planning for a Festival to bring entrepreneurs together for fun and learning.

New Commons partnered with RITEC and designed the 2003 Entrepreneurship Festival of New England this then lead to the EFNE we know now: Forum with activities, programs and online tools to connect entrepreneurs in the region.
